A Week with Local Artists – October 21 – 26, 2019
Time spent practicing purposeful creativity is associated with many perks, including benefits to mental health. This week, we will be featuring a local artist each day on Facebook and Instagram. Along with their featured work, each artist will talk about why they create, and we will explore the benefits of creativity on mental health.
Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Walk –October 5, 2019
The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Muscle Walk was last weekend (10/5/19), and Amanda, Ladette, Rylee, and Brianna from All Seasons Mental Health and Family Care Clinic joined to support the cause. Way to go guys!
People living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and other related neuromuscular diseases, are robbed of the strength that most of us take for granted every day – the strength to walk, talk, laugh, hug, even breath. These muscle walks are celebrations of giving strength. An opportunity to recognize the members of our community and come together in support of a common cause.
Community Outreach Spotlight
On August 20th, All Seasons – Mountain Home held a car wash to raise funds on behalf of a family who lost their three daughters in a car accident, after being struck by a drunk driver. Alongside the car wash there have been three additional fundraisers in Mountain home raising awareness and funds.
All Seasons will continue to participate in community based efforts to raise funds and awareness to curb and eliminate driving under the influence.
Great job All Seasons – Mountain Home team!!!
Community Giving Trees
(Proudly partnering with Commercial Tires across the Treasure Valley)
This gift drive allows local businesses in the community to provide gifts and other needed items to underprivileged individuals with disabilities through Eagle Heights. Businesses can sign up for this community outreach throughout the year to participate. Donated items are collected at the place of business and then distributed by Eagle Heights and All Seasons Mental Health.
School Supply Drive
Each year, many underprivileged children with disabilities in our community are expected to obtain school supplies but do not have the means to purchase them. Eagle Heights’ community outreach helps to collect and distribute school supplies to those with the greatest need.
