Joseph Machtinger, DNP, PMHNP

Joseph is passionate about helping people strengthen their mental health by recognizing both their challenges and their unique strengths. He believes effective care begins with truly understanding each individual’s struggle and then building on their inner resources to promote healing and growth.

His experience includes work in neurology and rehabilitation medicine research, practicing as an emergency medical technician, and working as a floor nurse at St. Luke’s in Boise. Across every role, one truth has remained clear to him: mental health is foundational to all aspects of care.

Joseph has a particular interest in geriatric brain health, ADHD in both children and adults, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorders, insomnia, and psychotic disorders.
